What better way to celebrate RA’s 12th birthday than with 12 equally vibrant parties in some of the world’s most historic and influential venues. Our role was to bring the In Residence season to life across all touch-points - from the overall visual identity to online, print and the events themselves.
Rich editorial content sits at the very core of RA’s growth. We envisaged radically overhauling how long form content was presented on the RA site - enriched with impactful films, stunning photography and explosive writing each article is a love letter to these historic clubs brought to life in an interactive medium.
The unifying core of the campaign is the In Residence visual identity. Based on deconstructed floor plans of the twelve clubs, each manifestation is loaded with detail and meaning. This design system allowed us to create strong sub-identities for every event, while maintaining strict overall consistency for the campaign.
The visual identity was used across digital and print media equally, but of special note was the series of limited edition, archival posters from Generation Press.
Ultimately, the events are what it was all about. With epic line ups across the globe, the visual identity formed the backbone of creative used in motion graphics, projections and printed display media.
